“How do I redeem my purchase?"

After you buy a deal, you’ll receive an email with the subject [AppSumo] Order Confirmation that will contain your codes and redemption instructions. You can also access your products by clicking on Account on the top right of the home page (make sure you're logged in). From there, scroll down and click on the image of your deal. Follow the specific redemption instructions we give you, and you’ll be on your way.


“I didn't get an email with the redemption," or "I can't find my product."

99.9% of the time this happens because you’re not logged into AppSumo with the correct email address. Trying logging out and back in using different emails. If you still cannot find the correct email, please email support@appsumo.com with the following information:

  1. Your first and last name (so we can search the database)
  2. The email you use to login to AppSumo
  3. Any other email address you might have used (again, to search the database)
  4. Name of the product you're missing


“My redemption instructions don't work.”

Oopsies! First, make sure you’re logged into AppSumo with the correct email address (the email you used to purchase the deal). If you’re logged in and the redemption link still doesn’t work, please email us at support@appsumo.com with the following information:

  1. Your first and last name (so we can search the database)
  2. The email you use to login to AppSumo
  3. Any other email address you might have used (again, to search the database)
  4. Name of the product you're missing


“What's your refund policy?”

100% money back guarantee for 60 days after purchase, guilt-free :). BUT we really appreciate you giving us a thorough reason - this gives us a better idea of what to improve.


"How do I get a refund?"

Just complete the "Refund Request Form" below. Again, wait 2 business days (Monday-Friday) after your email before sending in another request. Each time you send in a request, you reset yourself to the end of the support queue and response time is further delayed. Unless of course, you change your mind. :)

“How long should I wait for a response?”

“How do I change my AppSumo account email?”

If you’ve changed email addresses, or have lost access to an inbox and would like to change the email address you use for your AppSumo account, you can easily do that! Make sure you can still access your current AppSumo account (if you need to reset your password, check out how to do that here), and take a look at this quick Gif on how to change your email address:

“How do I find my invoice ID?”

When writing into support for help with a specific product, it helps us if you provide your invoice ID. With that, we’ll be able to more quickly find your product. Here is how to find that:

“I live in a country that requires a detailed invoice with my business information for my purchase. How do I get that from AppSumo?”

So, your accountant is hounding you for a detailed invoice document, no worries. We got you! We Sumos know that Sumolings come from all walks of life and parts of the world, we love that :) But because of that, it’s impossible for our lean (but kickass) team to know what information is required of your country and your laws for a proper detailed invoice. Being crafty as we are, we’ve drafted an invoice template for you to fill out as you need :) You can download and use this template as much and as often as you need, so click the link to download and have at it!

“I put my in my code but I got an error message that says the code is invalid and it doesn’t work. Am I doing something wrong?”

99% of the time, the error is that the you might be entering a white space to the right or left of the code when copying it and pasting it into the redemption field.

Check for that, and if there is a white space, delete it and the code should work for you. If you still have get an error code or the code doesn’t work, shoot us an email at support@appsumo.com and we’ll take care of you :)


“I bought a gift card for AppSumo credits, but the credits don’t show up in my account. How can I used the credits?”

If you’ve purchased AppSumo credits, just like most other AppSumo deals, you have to redeem them to your account in order to be able to use them :) Here’s a short clip on how to easily redeem the credits to your account:
